   The Civil Engineering department started in the year 2009 with intake strength of 60 per batch, now it is increased to 180 per batch. It is endowed with well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and committed supporting staff. Students of the department are highly enthusiastic and actively participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities apart from giving their best in academics. The department focuses on the balanced coverage of theory, principles and design in the areas of Structural Engineering, Geo-Technical Engineering, Hydraulics, Irrigation, Surveying, Transportation Engineering, and Remote Sensing & GIS including Construction Management and Computer Aided Analysis and Design.

    All the laboratories of the department are well equipped with advanced and sophisticated instruments, to fully satisfy the training needs of the students and to meet the research and consultancy requirements of the department. “
